Technical Project Manager

i33 is seeking a “hands-on” Technical Project Manager to add to our growing technical services team in New York, New York. The Technical Project Manager applies technical knowledge and performs project management responsibilities relating to online marketing and web site development initiatives for the business. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will directly participate in the development process and therefore must have a solid background in programming. Under direct supervision by the Chief Technology Officer, the Technical Project Manager:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the client, the primary project or account manager, third-party vendors, and developers to design technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional documentation based on analysis of business needs
  • Drives and participates in design, development, and implementation of project deliverables
  • Manages teams of developers to ensure requirements are executed on-time and on-budget

Required Skills and Background:

  • 3–5 years experience as a Technical Project Manager or project leader in an online environment (marketing technology and ROI-tracking experience a plus)
  • Solid experience coding with languages, platforms, and standards such as: Java, Visual Basic, Javascript, HTML, C++, SQL, ASP, CFM, Perl, TCL, XML
  • Experience managing the integration of technology and tools into website infrastructures within a client’s existing infrastructure
  • Must be familiar with server-side setup of web and application servers on Windows and Unix
  • Must be familiar with merchant-account transaction solutions
  • Must be familiar with basics of network infrastructure and Internet protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Extremely strong written and verbal/presentation skills

Required Education:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
